Hi, I’m Raphaela.

Hello! My name is Raphaela, otherwise known as Social Raph. Welcome to my website!

In 2018, I decided to build my own website as a way to express and share things about my life: my dreams and aspirations, thoughts, advice, passions, and everything else that this beautiful life has to offer. This is as real as it gets, and I promise to always be 110% authentic.

If you’re new to my life, hello! Here are some generic facts about me: I am 22 years old, living right outside the beautiful city of Boston. I graduated from Assumption College with a bachelors in Business. I’m a first-generation college graduate, which has made me and my family extremely proud. Throughout college, I have experience working in various fields such as social media marketing, digital marketing, traditional marketing, Facebook/Instagram advertising, and market research.

Now you get why I pretty much live, breathe, and eat social media, right? This is what led to the creation of  Social Raph!

In my spare time, I read books and take pictures. Education is something that I take very seriously. My goal is to learn something new every single day. I guess this stems from my career. Photography is a newfound love for me. When I think about photographing something, I have a vision for the way that I want it captured and edited. Everything good comes from vision and strategy. Lightroom and VSCO are my best friends.

I fluently speak 3 languages: English, Romanian, and Albanian. Throughout high school and college, I studied Latin Honors, so technically I know 4 languages, but sadly it’s a dead language…

I’m a city girl. Words cannot describe how much I love the rush of the city. There’s something about it that invigorates me. It makes me feel like I’m home. Manhattan and Boston have my heart, but the ocean has my soul. I grew up vacationing on Cape Cod! The Atlantic has a significant and special way of soothing your mind and body. The balance between these two has always kept me grounded.

When I’m not traveling, taking photos, or reading a book, you can find me at Bagel Time! My parents’ dream was to build a business when they migrated to America 23+ years ago. Seeing them live the American dream every day is truthfully what motivates and inspires me to do better. Bagel Time is where I grew up as a child and have grown to love the business even more as an adult. My parents, younger brother, and I all work together! Talk about a true family business, am I right? We love growing the busines and serving our customers fresh and authentic food. If you’re ever in the area, please stop by! I’d love to send you home with some fresh, homemade bagels and cream cheese. I may be biased, but I swear these are the best bagels you’ll ever have.

There you have it. Everything (mostly) that there is to know about me. Thank you for sticking around and taking the time to read this post! Most importantly, thank you all for your support thus far. It means the world to me. I’m thankful for the extra push that I receive from each and every one of you. Words can’t even begin to describe how extremely excited I am for this journey ahead, and I hope that you’re ready to be a part of it, too.
